Professional wedding photographers in Italy
You’ve booked the date, you have chosen your venue and menu, and all your exciting plans are coming together – however one of the most important services you should concentrate on is your wedding day photographs. We give high priority to making sure you get the style of photography and type of service you want on your wedding day or event.
Over our years of experience with hundreds of weddings, we have built up a portfolio of tried and trusted photographers whom we consider to be the best. We have local photographers in each area, and we have photographers who will travel. Let us help you choose your wedding photographer.
Each photographer offers various packages to suit most budgets.
Here are some tips to help you choose the right one for you…
Establish the style you like …. consider not just one photograph but perhaps a whole album of photographs. Narrow your choice to two or three photographers. The style can easily be seen from one or two sample pictures.
If possible meet them …… not easy when weekends are their busiest time, or let your wedding planner co-ordinate with them. If possible visit their studio and see their portfolio. In case of a destination wedding, make use of their website to get a good idea of their work.
Like them … quite important as they will be with you and your guests on the day. If you don’t like their personality, don’t book them as you won’t have a good rapport and this may show in the photographs.
Ask questions .. whether they have special packages,
Listen to them … they have a wealth of experience and importantly location knowledge. They know how important lighting is. Booking a photographer who doesn’t know the location of your wedding is a risk and may show on the photographs.
Once you have found a photographer you like, make sure he is available on the date!
What we don’t recommend:
Everyone is budget conscious and usually in most families there is a budding photographer keen to offer his/her services. DON’T DO IT. Even if they do take a nice photograph, they don’t have the experience and skill that a true professional has. Let them enjoy your wedding as a guest!
What we do to help the photographer get the best results he can on your day!
Inform him of the schedule of your wedding day and as much information about your likes and dislikes as possible
A list of your must-have photographs – remember he doesn’t know who Auntie Dorothy is, or your closest relatives. Making a list helps us co-ordinate and get the group photographs done easily and quickly.
After the event service – if you are having an album then important to communicate clearly after the wedding about your favourite shots.
