Old-fashioned grandeur at its best, and the approach down the narrow alley gives nothing away

Old-fashioned grandeur at its best, and the approach down the narrow alley gives nothing away. This 16th-century beauty has been in the Tiepolo family forever and friendly Lelia oversees the ongoing restoration. Tiepolo, the ground-floor studio, has been cleverly thought out. A beautifully equipped and stocked kitchen tucks behind cupboard doors, the shower room is in a corner and the gem of a dining area overlooks the life of the Grand Canal, and you fall asleep to the lapping waters: such a privileged position.
